The Essence of Transformation

Sometimes there are moments in life where we can become temporarily thrown off track or taken by surprise by difficult feelings and situations that we are facing. We may have been happily moving along in our lives just fine, when seemingly out of nowhere, we are brought to our knees with uneasiness.

It is common in these moments of transition to feel as though we have done something wrong – to feel that we have erred, and that is why we are facing such consequences. The truth is, that it is actually in these very moments that our souls have called us into growth once again – into expanding into higher consciousness. Each and every time we say YES to these fleeting moments of challenge by facing them bravely – even when they may cause us great discomfort or overwhelm, we overcome small parts of ourselves that have been previously trapped in webs of limitation. Potential can only be realized by first stretching the boundaries of what we before thought impossible.

Because we cannot yet see who we are becoming, the art of transformation requires courage and resolve from us each and every day. It is in having the faith to continue moving forward even when we do not recognize where our paths are taking us that creates the momentum for change and increased awareness. When we do not shy away from that which we don’t yet understand, we create the space for our real wisdom to begin to shine through. Our heads cannot grasp the goodness that awaits us, which is why it is vital to first be led by our hearts.When we are not worried solely about our survival, our hearts are afforded the freedom to begin moving with the energy of creation. Accessing our brilliance can only be done by first becoming emptied and void of thought. From here, we can begin to follow our inner guidance rather than the prescriptions from our heads….and here that we are able to taste the truth of ease.

Courage

Having the faith to DO

So often in life we are faced with circumstances that we don’t think we can overcome. The mountain may look too high, or the stream too deep, and so we too easily give up, often stopping just short of meeting the very best parts of ourselves.

Courage does not mean that we are afraid of nothing; rather it means that we recognize our fears, and keep on moving forward ANYWAY, knowing that to stop means to injure our spiritual selves. When we are not continually growing, we are not breathing with the rhythm of life. Life is meant to be danced with, kneaded and made the best of. Like our ancestors with wisdom enough to use every last bit of resource they were given, life encourages us to stretch ourselves into greatness, by first allowing ourselves to let go of any and all perceived limitation. Nothing that causes us to grow can be limiting.

There will always be parts of ourselves that are difficult to swallow, and parts of ourselves that are nervous about the future. There will be times when we feel expansive, and others when we doubt our abilities to meet the challenges that life brings before us. What is important to remember is that none of this means that we have failed. To be human is to live the human experience fully and completely – not to transcend it. For as long as we have our physical bodies, let us rise to the occasion of meeting life head-on, with joyfulness in our hearts! Let us believe in our abilities to transform ourselves in the blink of an eye into beings who are afraid of nothing because we already know that we are everything.

Health, happiness and prosperity…

Abundance is the joyous realization of wholeness. Greater than simple material gain, it is an inner state of being that embodies the natural flow of movement, fulfillment and richness. The vibrancy of abundance encourages us to see through enthusiastic eyes, and to say YES to life as often as we possibly can. It knows nothing of lack, only of innate goodness, and of Love as the creator of all. Abundance is the breaking dam that can no longer be withheld – the potential of energy that lies expectantly within each one of us, waiting to be experienced, shared, and released. As we learn of fullness and generosity, we are guided to receive openly from our hearts, and to flow freely into the unlimited wellspring of abundance and possibility…

Spreading the Love

Shining your light…

While we can often become tangled in our own webs of complexity, it is helpful to remember that the gift of simplicity is always nearby for us. Only one step away, looking into the direction of what is already good and healthy in our lives – of what we are most grateful for – only creates more goodness for us. When we look only towards our problems and issues, we can become easily bogged down with feelings of heaviness and discouragement. Lightening up allows for us to embrace a ‘whatever goes’ mentality, thereby creating healthy change for ourselves and for those around us.

LOVE is the natural state of being for all of humanity. There is not a soul on the planet who is not capable of recognizing and responding to love’s gentle tenderness. When we are able to uncover genuine love within ourselves, we also become able to spark and awaken the same flame in others. We can be an inspiration to others right now! We needn’t wait for our lives to be perfect, or until we have everything figured out. Instead, we simply need to BELIEVE, and begin creating the change we wish to see in our world…right now. Joy is found in the simplest of life’s pleasures, and each moment you are here is another opportunity to start becoming the person you wish to be.

The more we give of ourselves naturally and effortlessly, the more we open to receive the graces of divine love and comfort. Be the stranger who waits patiently in line behind someone who is taking too long…and smile at her reassuringly when she looks around nervously. To another who has been kind to you, look him in the eyes and open your heart when you say “thank you”. Shining your light of sincerity helps us all to illuminate the path back home to ourselves.

Willingness

Sprouting new wings…

While most people tend to think of themselves as open-minded individuals with trusting and faith-filled hearts, the truth is that each of us carries unresolved parts of ourselves that can cause us to shut down, become afraid, and sometimes even immovable. While it is often easy see others clearly – to see where they are going wrong, and what might make them happier in the long run, it is not always so easy to find the solutions to our own problems.

We have to understand that this is the natural course of healing! When we fail to see the light, or cannot yet recognize how to exit our own inner turmoil, it does not mean that we have failed. Instead, quite the opposite is true…in moments of overwhelming intensity, it means that we have finally stopped pretending that everything is okay, and have started taking the necessary steps towards reclaiming lost parts of ourselves. Every time we are successful at bringing another grievance to rest in our hearts, we are one step closer to becoming whole once again.

When we find ourselves feeling lost or unable to move forward, it is simply a sign that sincere change is required of us. We are being encouraged to let go of old programming that is no longer appropriate, and instead to seek out parts of ourselves that are in development and sprouting new wings. We are sacred beings filled with significant purpose and hopefulness. We are meant to be on this earth to thrive, flourish, learn and to grow. Facing unresolved aspects of ourselves reflects true courage. While not always easy to remain in a state of total vulnerability, it is how we emerge effortlessly out of our pain and suffering. For with no resistance, we no longer have to work at maintaining and protecting our self-created identities. Instead, we can surrender with purity to divine love, comfort and guidance, and willingly follow our paths home.

Blossoming

Petal by Petal…

It is a commonly held perception that if we aren’t where we ultimately want to be right NOW, that we are failing in some way. The reality is that our true natures are being revealed to us step by step, and breath by breath. Each day we rise into the opportunity to become more aware of who we already are.

There is no end to who we are becoming – instead only a richness of energy – vast in nature, waiting to be explored. We are no longer limited by who we have been in the past, nor confined by others’ expectations of us for the future. Instead, we are beings of potentiality, gaining in momentum each and every day. We are waking up to our collective new selves – beings who simply know things, rather than having to use our minds to prove their existence. There is less need to manage information, and more desire to simply let things to be – to collaborate with the IS-ness we now find ourselves immersed in. It is a time of accelerated consciousness – leaving us mostly awestruck as we break down the old, while humbly replacing it with the new…quieted by the profound gratitude that accompanies the raw experience of transformation.

Awakening blossoms in us petal by petal. It is a series of seemingly insignificant moments that grow in power over time into eventual leaps and bounds of awareness and understanding. Without each small step taken along the way – albeit often laced with both struggle and confusion – there is no opportunity to meet our true selves for the first time. Every single step counts….no effort will be forgotten or has been unnecessary, for all brings us into the wisdom and desire of wanting to be REAL – to lead meaningful lives, and to express the unique fingerprints of expression that we hold so dearly in our hearts. Be thankful for the path that has brought you to where you are today, for this is only the beginning this new, beautiful playground of expansion!

Transparency of potential…

Born anew with each breath we take, growth is, and always has been. It is the clarity that comes when we work in harmony with the eternal rhythms of life. Growth is powered by the loving wisdom of the universe – a quiet movement forward that encourages us to graciously let go of the old while we courageously embrace the new – even if we may not yet recognize the new. Growth is seeing that there is nothing to be done or controlled, and understanding that when we let life happen naturally, and with as little resistance as possible, that we are supported, provided for, and continually guided into becoming the next best versions of ourselves. Growth means rising into the maturity and understanding that nothing warrants our reactions, when it is only our responses that keep us healthy and well-balanced. Yielding to the natural intelligence of evolution allows us to rise into our potential, without inhibition. Letting Things Lie

Natural evolution of life…

Every once in a while the need to get things done can surface strongly in us – to get things done RIGHT NOW, instead of letting the natural flow of life take lead. We often do this when we find ourselves feeling agitated, desperate, or as though nothing in our lives is moving the way we would like it to. What is important for us to remember, however, is that we are here on this planet to make peace with WHAT IS, and not to change the plan that is laid out before us. Once peace has been made, we can do absolutely anything.

While it can often feel more comfortable to jump in head first – because at least it feels then like we are in control and getting things DONE – we are always better off to observe situations fully before moving through them as though we know how things ought to be. Practicing receptivity paves the way for wisdom to grow in us, because we do not claim to know it all. Instead, approaching each day as a meaningful learning experience that guides us into the direction of our higher selves, keeps us in a state of gratitude and openness. Once we are able to resolve ourselves into the energy of cooperation, life can open before us like a new flower in bloom.

New parts of ourselves will always be born, just as old ones will naturally fall away – this is the fluid dynamic of our lives. If we are in the game of trying to keep things static, we will suffer because we have not yet learned that change is the only constant we can truly count on. We must understand that we are always cared for, supported and loved by universal energies. Our world is not unkind, only still learning how to arise out of its own unconsciousness. We can help one another in our journeys by taking a step back, practicing acceptance, and understanding that everything we need already lies before us.
